Langenargen - the sunny spot on Lake Constance

 

The recognized resort owes its name to the wonderful southern location on the Württemberg shore of Lake Constance with a wide view of the lake, the Swiss shores and the Alps: sunny spot on Lake Constance.


Located between Friedrichshafen and Lindau, Langenargen is the ideal starting point for taking advantage of the diverse leisure opportunities on Lake Constance. BMK marina harbor entrance

The BMK Yachthafen Langenargen is a natural harbor and is located halfway between Lindau and Friedrichshafen.

Swabian-Alemannic carnival

One of the oldest customs that has been preserved in Langenargen over the centuries is the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet. Numerous events and parades take place between Epiphany and Ash Wednesday.

Langenargen municipal harbor

In the historic community harbor in the town center of Langenargen you can set sail from the pier on one of the scheduled ships, rent a pedal boat or motor boat from the boat rental company or book a guest berth.

Cable suspension bridge

The oldest surviving cable suspension bridge in Germany, 72 meters long, connects the two communities of Kressbronn and Langenargen. The construction plans for the bridge, built in 1897, were exhibited at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900. The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, among others, was built based on her model.

Montfort Castle in spring

Located on a headland in Lake Constance, Montfort Castle exudes a touch of the Orient on the Swabian Sea with its Moorish style. From the castle tower you have a wonderful view of the Alps, the lake and the hinterland.
